Memorial to Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson
Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson was one of Nelson’s Band of Brothers, having fought under at him at the Battle of the Nile.
He died in 1828 in Hertfordshire and was buried at Greenwich Hospital where he was the treasurer in the later years of his life.
His monument can be seen in what is now the gardens of Devonport House Hotel. He is buried in the officers’ vault under the mausoleum, along with Hardy.
