Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle by Yinka Shonibare MBE has been in Greenwich since 2012.

The piece of art famously came to public attention when it was on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square from May 2010 to January 2012.

Inside the glass bottle is a 1:30 replica of HMS Victory, the flaghip on which Nelson was fatally injured at the battle of Trafalgar.

Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle can be found adjacent to the south entrance to the National Maritime Museum.
